GYDTA (metal strengthening member, loose tube stranded and filled with optical fiber ribbon, aluminum-polyethylene bonded sheathed outdoor optical fiber cable for communication) The structure of the optical cable is to sheath the single-mode optical fiber ribbon with the inner filling made of high modulus plastic Waterproof compound in loose tube. The center of the cable core is a metal reinforced core. For certain number of cores, the metal reinforced core can be a steel strand, which can be extruded with a layer of polyethylene (PE). The loose tube (and the filling rope) is twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and circular cable core. The gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking compounds and then coated with a plastic aluminum tape longitudinally wrapped with a polyethylene sheath.
